AUSTIN – An anonymous Waxahachie resident recently hit the lotto.
According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the resident was a second-tier Mega Millions prize winner taking home $4 million after a late October win.
The ticket, purchased at the Tiger Mart 41 on Brown St. in Waxahachie, was a winning ticketholder with Megaplier number 4 and all five of the white ball numbers drawn (11-32-43-57-70).
While there are many lottery options these days, Mega Millions is one of the choices in which you choose five numbers out of 70 and one Mega Ball number out of 25 from a second group of 25 numbers.
In order to win the Mega Millions jackpot, the lotto player must match the six numbers and the Mega Ball.
