Drivers asked to stay alert and give crews room to work

DALLAS – With snow and ice possible later this week, TxDOT has begun pretreating main lanes, bridges and overpasses in all seven counties of the Dallas District. TxDOT is reminding drivers to stay alert and give crews room to work. Maintenance crews will be using brine to help prevent ice from sticking to the road surface. Motorists are also reminded winter weather can change unexpectedly so delay travel, if possible.
