FERRIS – The City of Ferris, in partnership with the Ferris Economic Development Corporation, announced the upcoming opening of a restaurant by the Founders and Operators of Tuscan Slice Wood Fired Italian in the historic downtown square.
Operated by Jonathan and Aimee Evola, with 25 years of experience in the restaurant business and who operate House of Dogs, Inc., the restaurant location will be at the old train depot, formerly City Hall.
This project represents a significant step in revitalizing the downtown area and enriching the local dining scene.
Jonathan and Aimee expressed their enthusiasm.
“Bringing this concept to Ferris is a dream come true.
“We look forward to creating a space where families can enjoy authentic cuisine and make lasting memories.
“Our aim is to create not just a restaurant, but a gathering place that resonates with the warmth and charm of Ferris.”
Cheree Barrett, Economic Development Corporation Chairwoman emphasized the importance of this partnership.
“The arrival of this opportunity in Ferris marks a significant milestone in our downtown revitalization efforts.
“We are confident this partnership will enrich our community’s dining landscape.”
Brooks Williams, city manager & EDC director, also commented on the collaboration.
“This initiative is a key component of our ongoing efforts to enhance Ferris’s downtown area. The Evolas’ renowned restaurant concept is anticipated to be a major player in driving local economic growth.”
Renovation work is scheduled to begin in January, with the grand opening anticipated in early summer.
