If you thought librarians focused on the Dewey Decimal System, stocking books, and exploring better ways to “shush” noisy patrons, you’d be wrong.

Now, librarians are social justice warriors for the left.

The Texas Library Association, the largest state library association in the U.S. with more than 6,000 members from taxpayer-funded school and government libraries, is hosting its annual conference next week in Fort Worth.

The event will feature adult entertainers headlining TLA’s “After Hours Keynote” and “Drag Queen Story Hour” events.

TLA’s conference also includes sessions on the promotion of LGBT sexual behaviors at local campuses and how to teach young children leftist “social justice”  doctrine.

“Even our youngest students are aware of and affected by social justice issues.

“Let’s explore the opportunities we can offer in our library to help students become anti-racists, allies, and fluent in the language and ideas of social justice,” reads the TLA program.

Remember: This conference is being subsidized by your city and school tax dollars.
