RED OAK – Red Oak ISD held its annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 5, at Red Oak High School.
Thousands of parents, students, vendors and fund-raising groups attended the 2-1/2-hour event.
Outside booths and vendors included a rock-climbing wall, inflatable mechanical bull ride, food and beverage trucks, and games.
Inside the air conditioned high school were free visions checks, available immunizations, and a ton of booths representing booster clubs, community groups and kid related activities with many handing school supplies of some kind.
The Red Oak HS Drum Line, Hawkette Officers, Varsity & JV Cheer, and ROMS Highsteppers performed at different times highlighting their amazing talent and skills.
Wednesday, Aug. 16 is the first day of school for Red Oak ISD.
