Rep. Brian Harrison’s reelection campaign for Texas House District 10 endorsed by Governor Greg Abbott

MIDLOTHIAN – State Representative Brian Harrison filed to run for reelection in House District 10 and announced that Governor Greg Abbott has endorsed him in his campaign.

Additionally, Harrison has been backed by conservative leaders like Sen. Ted Cruz, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, members of President Trump’s cabinet, numerous local elected officials and GOP precinct chairs, and has been praised by world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson for having helped deliver conservative victories with President Trump and as a “champion for our limited government beliefs.”

“It’s been my highest honor to fight for the freedoms and liberties of everyone in Ellis County and all Texans, and I am excited to announce Governor Abbott’s support for my reelection.” stated Rep. Harrison.

“I am proud to have delivered historic victories such as ending tyrannical covid mandates, defeating the Marxist and socialist American Library Association in Texas near single-handedly, increasing border security, and expanding educational opportunities in Ellis County.

“I will continue leading the fight against President Biden’s unconstitutional assault on Texas, to put parents in charge of their children’s education, and to work towards eliminating property taxes.”

Harrison was first elected in a special election in September 2021.  Following his overwhelming victory, he was re-elected in 2022 and had no one file against him in the Republican Primary or the General Election.

He quickly gained a reputation for leadership not only in Ellis County but with freedom loving Texans all across the state.

A native Texan, Rep. Harrison graduated from Ovilla Christian School and earned a degree in economics from Texas A&M University.

Prior to getting elected, he served as President Trump’s Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the largest cabinet agency in the world, where he helped secure the border with Title 42, slash burdensome regulations, and defund Planned Parenthood.

He previously served in the administration of President George W. Bush and ran a small family business in Ellis County, where he lives with his wife, Tara, and their four children: Hudson (9), Tucker (7), Hayes (5), and Violet (3).
