RED OAK – Several students at Red Oak High School have received honors through the College Board National Recognition Program!

These students earned this prestigious academic award based on their GPA of B+ or higher and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams. 

The College Board’s National Recognition Program is designed to shine a light on high-achieving students nationwide across all backgrounds.

The program also serves as a valuable tool for higher education members seeking to connect with remarkable students across the country, including students from lesser-known high schools.

The  2025 National Recognition Program includes three award designations:

Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award

The First-Generation Recognition Award celebrates students who score among the top 10% of test  takers  among  first-generation college students in their state and/or earn a 3+ on 2 or more distinct AP exams by the time of submission.
