ENNIS – A Cessna 310G twin engine plane crashed this past weekend in Ennis at the city’s airport.
The family of three onboard the plane was from The Woodlands near Houston.
Ennis police are not releasing the names of the individual passengers, but Roger Cole, Ennis Police Department Public Information Officer said the father was killed and the mother and son transported to a Dallas area hospital by ambulance.
The weather was clear at the time of the crash and the NTSB are still investigating the cause.
