MAYPEARL – A tattoo shop called Inky Blinders is moving to Maypearl.
At the city’s last city council meeting in March, a public hearing was held to approve a specific use permit for Inky Blinders Tattoo to be located at 218 North Main Street.
According to Maypearl Mayor Joy Landry, the tattoo shop SUP did pass, but they have not moved in yet.
“They are waiting for their certificate of occupancy,” Landry said.
Inky Blinders is currently located in Venus, but word is the shop is excited to move to Maypearl.
At the Inky Blinders Facebook page, the shop has noted their grand opening this weekend, April 15 in Maypearl.
Indeed, Maypearl is growing.
“The moving in here thing is absolutely crazy,” Landry concluded.
“A double wide trailer just sold for $350,000.”
