LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE OCT. 11

Early Voting starts Monday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 polling locations.

Last Day to apply for a Ballot by Mail is Friday, Oct. 28.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 31 polling locations.

There will be NO VOTING at the Elections Office.

 

GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS – NOV. 8

 

To the registered voters of the County of Ellis, Texas:

Voting for the purpose of electing Members of Congress, Members of the Legislature, state, district, county and precinct officers as required by Article XVI, Section 65 of the Texas Constitution.

 

To the registered voters in Ellis County having General or Special Elections:

• City of Ennis Special Election voting to adopt or reject one proposed proposition

• City of Glenn Heights General Election for the purpose of electing a Mayor and At-Large Council Members Places 2, 4, & 6

• City of Glenn Heights Special Election to fill a vacancy for the purpose of electing At-Large Council Member Place 5, Unexpired Term

• City of Milford Special Election voting to adopt or reject one proposed proposition

• Avalon ISD General Election for the purpose of electing four At-Large Member of Board of Trustees – Vote for 4

• Ferris ISD Special Bond Election voting to adopt or reject three proposed propositions

• Red Oak ISD Special Bond Election voting to adopt or reject one proposed proposition

• Buena Vista-Bethel SUD General Election for the purpose of electing two At-Large Board of Directors - Vote for 2

• Ellis County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 Special Bond Election to adopt or reject two proposed propositions

 

Notice is hereby given of state law for acceptable credentials for voting in person.

A voter will be required to show one of the seven approved forms of photo identification or voters who do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain one of the seven forms of approved photo ID will be able to execute a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and provide a supporting form of identification.

All eligible registered voters in Ellis County, Texas, may vote at any of the below listed Early Voting Vote Centers. Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted at:
