FERRIS – The City of Ferris joyously reports the remarkable success of its second annual Feliz Navidad in Ferris on Dec. 9.

This year’s celebration, marked by an outpouring of community participation and festive spirit, has set a new benchmark for city events.

Early during the event the streets of Ferris were abuzz with excitement, as food truck vendors reported record sales, selling out much earlier than anticipated.

Streets were lined with an array of vendors and attendees, bringing together a vibrant mixture of cultures and festivities.

A key highlight of the day was the parade, showcasing an impressive lineup of local businesses, school clubs, and organizations. Community members of all ages came together, illustrating the unity and diversity Ferris prides itself on throughout the year.

As night fell, the sky lit up with a spectacular firework show, sponsored by the Ferris Economic Development Corporation.

The breathtaking display not only marked the conclusion of the day’s events but also symbolized the bright future of Ferris.

“The overwhelming success of Feliz Navidad in Ferris exemplifies our commitment to fostering a vibrant economy, enhancing the quality of life, and cultivating a sense of community pride that is distinct by design,” City Manager Brooks Williams said, reflecting on the event’s success.

“These events are pivotal in focusing on our vision.

“I would like to extend a special thanks to Krystina Rodriguez for her exceptional efforts in organizing this event, and to all our city staff for their tireless efforts in bringing this celebration to life.

“The Feliz Navidad in Ferris is more than just an event.

“It is a testament to the city’s mission, vision, and values.

“It stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together to celebrate its unique culture and spirit.”
