Ennis school bus accident under investigation

ENNIS – On Thursday, Jan. 27, an Ennis ISD school bus was involved in an accident near the intersection of Interstate 45 and N. Kaufman St.

On the bus at the time of the accident was the bus driver, an adult monitor, and 32 EISD students.

All were medically evaluated at the scene, and, out of an abundance of caution, some were transported to receive further medical attention, according to an Ennis ISD Facebook post.

“At this time, no serious injuries have been reported.

“Administrators are in the process of making contact with the parents of those involved and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of this accident.”
