WAXAHACHIE – State Representative Jake Ellzey announced he will host a series of town hall meetings this month as he serves in the 87th Legislative Session.
Ellzey will provide a brief overview of his legislative agenda, discuss the first completed weeks of session, and visit with folks about the issues that matter most to House District 10.
The first town hall meetings are scheduled for Feb. 11, in Ennis and Italy, followed by a town hall meeting Feb. 18, in Waxahachie.
Other dates and locations are pending for Maypearl, Palmer, Midlothian, and western Henderson County.
Ellzey wants to hear from those he serves, said, “I am looking forward to traveling throughout House District 10 and listening to the needs and concerns of my neighbors in Ellis and Henderson Counties.
“It is essential that community members take time out of their busy schedules to engage in matters dealt with by state government.”
Ellis County Town Hall Series
ENNIS: Feb. 11, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Bluebonnet BBQ, 3921 US 287, Reagor Springs.
ITALY: Feb. 11, 7:15 – 8:15 p.m., Italy Community Center, 108 Harpold, Italy.
WAXAHACHIE: Feb. 18, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., 1 Bates Dr., Waxahachie 1st Floor (enter west side of building).
RED OAK: Feb. 18, 7:15 – 8:15 p.m., 200 Lakeview Parkway/Red Oak City Hall, Red Oak, Ronald Reagan/Evelyn Pitts Room

Currently serving his first term, Rep.Ellzey and his wife, Shelby, are raising their children on their homestead in Ellis County. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Ellzey has served our country and state for 33 years and counting. Texas House District 10 encompasses Ellis County and part of Henderson County.
