ELLIS COUNTY – Everywhere you look these days there are road closures.
Currently in the various Ellis County Precincts, there is only one construction project in Precinct 2.
Feaster Rd. in Ellis County (Road & Bridge) is closed to thru traffic between Wakeland Rd. and Hwy. 34 until further notice.
Beginning Sept. 5, there will be nightly lane closures on U.S. 67 from the Johnson County Line to Midlothian Parkway.
The closure is due to a pavement improvement project with the nightly alternating lane closures beginning at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5. This project will continue each night through project completion.
Drivers should follow signed detours and plan for extra travel time in the corridor.
