ENNIS – An accident involving three vehicles on I-45 northbound took the life of one driver last Thursday at around 6 a.m.
The accident occurred near the Buc-ees in Ennis involving two overturned tractor-trailers and one passenger vehicle.
An Ennis Fire Department spokesperson confirmed a 44-year-old tractor-trailer driver from Duncanville died at the scene.
One of the tractor-trailers and the passenger vehicle were in the northbound lanes and the second tractor-trailer was in the southbound lanes before impact.
Police did not confirm the cause of the accident.
