DALLAS – The North Texas Film Critics Association (NTFCA) is pleased to announce this year’s nominations in each of our 13 voting categories.
“Every year the North Texas Film Critics Association continues to grow with a strong talent base of writers offering a broad range of talent,” said NTFCA President Rita Cook. “The nominations were diverse this year with studio films up against independent and foreign film selections.”
The North Texas Film Critics Association spends countless hours throughout the year viewing films to determine each year’s “best” in 13 categories. Recent categories added have been BEST SCREENPLAY and the GARY MURRAY AWARD (Best Ensemble).
Several of our categories this year saw ties for fifth place on the ballot. The category for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor have six names for those nominations. For Best Screenplay, there was a three-way tie for fifth place in that category.
The North Texas Film Critics Association is excited to reveal this year’s final nominees for our 13 categories.
The final winners in each category will be announced Monday, December 29, 2025.
