PUBLIC NOTICE: PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR FLOOD HAZARD REVISIONS THE CITY OF RED OAK AND THE CITY OF PECAN HILL, AND UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF ELLIS COUNTY, TEXAS

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR FLOOD HAZARD REVISIONS

 

The City of Red Oak and the City of Pecan Hill, and Unincorporated Areas of Ellis County, Texas, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located east of Oglesby Road and north of F.M. 2377. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Brushy Creek from a point approximately 700 feet south of F.M. 2377 to a point approximately 450 feet west of Oglesby Road.

  As a result of the revision, the floodway shall widen and narrow, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow within the area of revision.

Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the offices of Davis & McDill Inc., at 1014 Ferris Avenue, Suite 104-3, in Waxahachie, Texas.
