PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE of the CITY COUNCIL, City of Ferris, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a public hearing to consider the following items:
Conduct a public hearing and take appropriate action on a request by Jason Sanford, for a Rezoning request on property zoned Agriculture (AG) District to a Planned Development (PD) District with a base zoning of Single-Family Residential District (R-3), Residential Townhome (R-T) District-Cluster, Multi-Family Residential (MF-18) District, Light Industrial and Warehousing (IL) District located at 200, 250, 300, 332, 504, 900, 1000 Malloy Bridge Rd, Ferris Texas 75125, further described as a 227-acre tract within the Terrel A Jackson Survey, Abstract 688 pg. 625 and the Alfred Brigance Survey, Abstract 105 Pg. 745, Dallas County City of Ferris, Texas
The public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on these requests will be held before the City Council on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Scout House, located at 514 South Mable Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All interested in the proposed requests are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time. Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the joint public hearing at the following address:
