PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL, City of Ferris, Texas

 

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a Final Plat request initiated by Corey Ford to Final plat Lot 1, Block A, of the Ford Addition on property that is not zoned in the extra-territorial jurisdiction of the City of Ferris for single-family home uses.

The subject property is located at 701 Tall Oaks Lane, within the extra-territorial jurisdiction of the City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas (legal description: a 1.00-acre tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract No. 824, and being a portion of ECAD Property #188935).

The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

The joint public hearing will be held in the regular meeting place, the Ferris Council Chambers, located at 215 W. Sixth Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.

All persons interested in the proposed final plat request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
