CITY OF OVILLA

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL


The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Ovilla, Texas and the City Council of the City of Ovilla, Texas will hold public hearings and meetings on the following dates:

Monday, December 1st, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Planning and Zoning Commission

Monday, December 8th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., City Council

Both public hearings and meetings will be held at the Ovilla City Hall, Council Chamber Room, 105 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Ovilla, Texas 75154, for the purpose of obtaining public comment regarding the following request:

Case No. PZ 25-12:

A request for a change in zoning filed by Mr. Disan Loera, owner of said property, from R-22, Single Family Residential District to CG, General Commercial District, 8,000 square foot minimum, on a 2.1903 acre tract of land out of the 295 W C DENTON 2.1903 ACRES, Property ID 182311, Map ID 15-3, Ellis County, Texas and being more commonly known as 103 Oak Creek Ln., Ovilla, Texas 75154.

The Ovilla City Council will consider and act on the change in zoning request of this property after it receives a final report and recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission, pursuant to Section 211.007 of the Texas Local Government Code.
