PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

City of Wilmer, Texas

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Wilmer, Texas, will conduct a public hearing to consider a request of Aslam Property Inc., property owner, for a variance to Section 21 (A) (4.1) (a) and (c) Supplementary Regulations, Zoning Ordinance of the City of Wilmer, in order to construct an 8-foot chain-link fence in the front yard for a commercial business, USA Wheels & Tires, located at 301 South Millers Ferry Road, Wilmer, Texas 75172, and being further described as D W Wright ABST 1531 PG 140, TR 2.1, ACS 19.4192, Parcel ID No. 65153114010020100, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. V-25-02 (Variance Request).

The purpose of this request is to allow the construction of an 8-foot chain-link fence in the front yard, which is currently prohibited for certain commercial uses located in the I1, Light Industrial zoning.

The public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this variance request will be held before the Wilmer Board of Adjustment on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
