Spiritual growth (part 1)

Now we come to the importance of walking in the Spirit and growing in the Lord. We cannot say we abide in God when we are absorbed by our fleshly appetite and deeds; many fail to walk in the Spirit thereby depriving themselves of Spiritual growth. If we are to grow in the Spirit we must understand in God there is no darkness and if we say we have fellowship with God and continue in darkness (sin) we become liars unto ourselves and the truth is not in us.

“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1st John 1:5-10).

We must develop an understanding of the entire Testimony of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) if we are to understand God's grace and mercy. There are many today that fail to understand that we do not continue in knowing we are in sin and willfully sin, sin separate us from God, this is why Yeshua (Jesus) came, to reconcile us to God, as long as we continue in the faith. If we fail to repent of willful sin, we will fall under the judgement of God and we will be consumed by the fire of God, (Hebrews 10:26-31).

Yeshua (Jesus) came to set us free from sin, not that we should continue in willful sin. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been watered down by those that fail to understand the truth of the salvation message and fail to teach our walk with God must be in truth and in holiness. The tradition of men has robbed us of the truth of God and of Yeshua (Jesus). Understand, Yeshua gives those that abide in him power to overcome the flesh and power to overcome the world. Our power comes when we accept Christ, abide in Christ by obey the word of God. We must receive understanding of truth and light from God through the Holy Spirit and not from man unless that man is truly speaking by the Spirit.

We must also understand there are levels of teachings and each teacher has their proper place in the Lord which begins with the true
