The miracles of Jesus (part 5)
And behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean.” – Matthew 8:2
The lingering question from many of the saints today is, “Does God heal?”
Well, does He?
It seems because we have this miraculous medical science available to us today, do we really need God?
A leper asked the same question, “Lord if you are willing and Jesus said to him, ‘I am willing, and so He healed him.’“
Healing is part of the atonement, the reconciliation of mankind through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He forgave our sins and transgressions and healed our diseases.
Jesus healed hundreds of people while on the earth and has healed millions since.
His ascension to the throne of God, so with that in mind – would He not heal us? He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. – Matthew 8:3
