The miracles of Jesus (part 18)

And behold there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Jesus, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” that they might accuse Him. Then He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit will not lay hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” – Matthew 12:10-12

There is nothing worse than hypocrites who quote the law but don’t keep it. This reminds me of the liberal left today who are always talking about democracy – but on the other hand are destroying it.

The Pharisees were of the same spirit, or should I say, the same demon, always judging and accusing the righteous for any good deed they might do but would not lift a finger to do anything themselves. The devil’s children are the most self-righteous, judgmental hypocrites the world has ever seen, never once looking at themselves, but always condemning the righteous.

Most of the religious leaders in those days were tools of Satan sent to destroy the Lord, so they followed Jesus to try and portray Him as a false Messiah and turn the people’s hearts back to them, but it didn’t work and Jesus kept on healing, delivering and performing great signs and wonders all the way to the cross.

Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. – Matthew 12:13
