The miracles of Jesus (part 15)

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.Matthew 9:35,36

Many today don’t believe Jesus heals anymore and the gifts and power of God have disappeared.

Even in the church, many walk in unbelief giving a multitude of excuses why Jesus doesn’t heal or deliver anymore.

In order for people to prove this idea they use I Corinthians 13:10, which states that when the perfect comes, then that which is in part will be done away.

Can I just tell you the perfect, Jesus has not come yet, and the gifts and callings of Christ are still readily available to all who will believe.

Now imagine the church today doing what Jesus did in His day, moved with compassion and healing and delivering everyone who came to them?

What a glorious sight that would be, if only we would believe.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:37,38
