The miracles of Jesus (part 13)

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us.” – Matthew 9:27

Can you imagine the crowds that would swarm around Jesus after he had performed a miracle? At times hundreds, maybe thousands would come from afar to be healed and delivered.

Jesus asked the blind men if they thought He was able to heal them, not if He was willing but able. They answered saying, “Yes Lord.”

I don’t know if these men were blind from birth or not, but you don’t see many today healed of blindness. I know He is capable, and He is willing, so our job is to believe.

As you read this message please remember my pastor, mentor and friend, David who went blind a few years ago and pray for his sight to return and that he may be healed. He believes and has not given up on the Lord Jesus.

Then Jesus touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” – Matthew 9:29,30
