ON THE JOB TRAINING (part 7)

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” – MATTHEW 5:13, 14

Salt and light, a seasoning that produces a taste for salvation and the light of God that attracts the sinner. Have you lost your flavor, or maybe you never had it, and is your divine light shining? Many today are just lost church members rotting away in a pew with no salt and no light, sitting in darkness.

Jesus spoke about the tares and the wheat, the tares look like wheat until the wheat bears fruit and then there is a distinction! So it is today, it is very rare to find any wheat in the fields of the world with millions of lost church folks who have portrayed discipleship as just showing up for service. The sheep and the goats.

A person who is truly born again can discern who is saved and who is lost by that which comes out of their mouth, either light or darkness, because both come from their heart! Are you full of light or full of darkness?

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.” – MATTHEW 6:22, 23
