ON THE JOB TRAINING (part 31)

“Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.”LUKE 12:33-36

If your treasure is in the bank and your heart seeks to store up the almighty dollar you may be in for a rude awakening because the present regime just gave it all away. Trillions are being sent out for a so-called stimulus for Covid victims and other Covid related items when in fact it is being stolen for the pet projects and utter foolish notions of a government gone mad.

The true body of the living Lord Jesus Christ was not put here to gain wealth, but to reap a harvest of souls from the earth and that is our treasure. We are His workers sent to save the souls of the lost and make disciples of all nations. While many are seeking the riches of this world we need to be about the business at hand, fighting the good fight of faith and rescuing those who are descending into the very pits of Hell.

What is the soul of a man worth to God? I would say it is the most valuable commodity in the world to a Father who gave His Son to save them. This ought to be as valuable to us who have been given the commission to see them saved and set free. As the scripture says, we ought to be watching and waiting for our Master who when He comes will say to us who have done the will of God, “Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord!”

“Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.”LUKE 12:37
