ON THE JOB TRAINING (part 21)

And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” That they might accuse Him. Then He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”MATTHEW 12:10-12

Again, the religious crowd always comes against the supernatural: healing, deliverance and any miracles they try and use their traditional excuses of, “It passed away with the apostles!” But nothing has passed away because we have the same power and authority as Jesus had when He was on the earth.

When praying for the sick or the demon-possessed try and avoid any unbelievers access to the ministry at hand because unbelief will kill your faith and defeat what Holy Spirit is doing in the one you are praying for. On the other hand, sometimes Holy Spirit will perform miracles in spite of unbelievers being present as a witness of God’s power.

Another warning is religious spirits will try and stop the ministry of healing and deliverance. One Sunday in a Baptist church the pastor was preaching when a lady had a heart attack and so he stopped preaching and went down to aid the lady when in the Spirit you could almost hear the devil speak to him saying, “You have to finish your sermon!” He stopped in his tracks and told the deacons to take her in a back room and pray for her where she later died.

Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him. – MATTHEW 12:13
