ON THE JOB TRAINING (part 18)

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.MATTHEW 9:35,36

This is the ministry of Jesus for His body on the earth now. We are appointed and anointed to do the greater works that He promised we would do in His stead. The world is sick and demonized, lost and descending into the depths of Hell desperately needing salvation, deliverance and the healing power of Holy Spirit.

As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but there are not enough workers.” We need to pray for His church to be trained, equipped and sent into His harvest. The time for pew sitting, sipping Starbucks and having you ears tickled by Superstar preachers is over, its time to labor in the fields of harvest.

Its not your pastor’s job, its your job and God expects you to go and do the work of the kingdom. The “Five-fold” ministry team of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are supposed to be equipping us for the work of service. So, go!

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – MATTHEW 9:37,38
