ON THE JOB TRAINING (part 16)

While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.MATTHEW 9: 18, 19

Years ago I visited a young lady in the hospital who had suffered much trauma with the loss of her baby who was still born and as a result her kidneys failed. When I went in to pray for her she was clinically dead on a respirator and the color of her skin was solid yellow.

I prayed but saw no change and went into the family room where the doctor was telling her parents there was no hope.

Then, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me to go back in and pray again, which I did and then left seeing no change.

A few days later I heard the news of a miracle that she was healed and left the hospital.

Many of the miraculous things God had me involved with, most I was never allowed to see as they happened, but later they would manifest which kept me humble. Praise God! From those early days I learned to just obey, do what He told me and let Him do the work and He told me, “Your ministry is not your ministry until it is My ministry.” Amen!

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.MATTHEW 9: 23 – 26
