People in America today have many opinions on various subjects. But, opinions are like noses, every person has one and all are different. Many opinions develop due to a lack of understanding, often leading to crowd followers. Opinions without facts can be detrimental to our lives, to society and to our nation.

This article is faith based on the subject of anti-Semitism.

The definition of opinion and fact: Opinion, an inconclusive view, judgment or appraisal formed in the mind concerning a particular topic; personal belief; or a defense of what a person believes apart from fact and truth. Fact, information that is true and can be verified or proven; a thing that is known or proved to be true with certainty. Spiritual Fact can only be known through the Holy Spirit.

Regarding anti-Semitism, we must understand a few things about Israel and the Jewish people. Israel, the Jewish people are God’s chosen people; God’s Word makes this clear, no one is to touch (harm or come against) Israel or the Jewish people. Israel and the Jewish people are the apple of God’s eye, (Zechariah 2:8). If we come against Israel or the Jewish people, we are poking our finger in God’s eye. What do you suppose the consequences will be for such an act?

We must also understand, without the Jewish people we would not have a Savior (Jesus).

Jesus is of the tribe of Judah; Judah is located in southern Israel. By God’s Word we learn Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, miraculously conceived (created) in the womb of a virgin by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died shedding his blood on the cross for the sins of mankind, was buried, and descended into Hades and on the third day rose from the dead. 40 days after his resurrection Jesus ascended into heaven, day 50 sent the Holy Spirit to believers as foretold.

We must also understand, Jesus was a Jew, Jesus was born a Jew, he lived as a Jew, he died as a Jew, rose from the dead as a Jew and ascended into heaven as a Jew. Instead of persecuting the Jewish people, we should thank them for our Savior Jesus Christ, thanking them for the prophetic word announcing his coming, his birth, life, death and resurrection.

Take this to heart; it was the sin of man that put Jesus on the cross, not the Jew.

The death of Jesus was preordained by God from the beginning, and we cannot blame the Jewish people for something God preordained. Jesus knew of his own death and even spoke of his death prior to its occurrence. There are three facts to consider concerning the crucifixion of Jesus, the Romans (Pontius Pilate), the Jewish Sanhedrin and being preordained by God. We must also understand, if Jesus had not died on the cross, all mankind would be lost and without hope.

Question: How do you suppose people in America and around the world would treat Jesus if he was physically on earth today, Jesus being a Jew? Would people treat Him as other Jews? Man must understand, if there is any punishment due the Jews, the matter belongs to God, man is not God and it is not man’s place to play God.

Anti-Semitism: a prejudice against or hatred of Jews; discrimination, hostility or violence directed toward Jews and Jewish communities. People have blamed the death of Jesus on the Jewish people, even though it had been preordained by God from the beginning. People everywhere must cease from aggressive acts and behavior toward the Jewish people and leave them alone, if not there will serious consequences from God, not only in this present time but in the future.
