GOD BLESS AMERICA
How can we as Americans have the audacity to say, God Bless America?
God’s blessings cannot be bestowed upon a nation that has rejected him and walks in darkness, blessings come through our obedience to God. Why would God bless any nation that has forced him out of that nation? This is exactly what America has done and is now suffering the consequences of their actions. Let’s open our understanding further concerning light and darkness. “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1st John 1:5-7).
By walking in God’s light, that is to say God’s truth and obedience to his Word, we will not only have righteous fellowship with one another, but we will also fellowship with God; God would then return to America and once again America would have God’s divine protection, intervention and guidance.
However, by our rejection of God he cannot protect us from what we ourselves have created apart from God. God will by no means beg us to return to him, God has already given us his Word and the way to reconcile to him through his Son Yeshua (Jesus), anchored by the 1st Commandment which opens the door to fellowship with God. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind.’ This is the first and great commandment” (Matthew 22:37-38). To love God means to obey God and accept his Son as Savior, if we fail to do this or love God we are nothing.
God, when he created man, gave man freewill, the freedom to choose, to choose evil serving Satan and this world or to serve good abiding in a kingdom not of this world, that is to say the way of God. The choices each of us make determine our relationship with God, whether they are true to God or after the will of man as predicated by Satan.
We cannot expect God to bless a nation that has rejected him. Understand, we in America have refused to obey God’s righteousness and have twisted the truth of God’s Grace to deceive many to gain control of men, a ploy set by Satan. “For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the Grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Lord” (Jude 1:4). The events of today were written many years ago.
Now, to say God bless America will not erase our unrighteous acts we have committed toward God and toward one another! If we truly desire God to bless America, we cannot say God Bless America, but say God forgive me and obey his Word, turn from sin and unrighteousness to include America’s demoralizing Dem Government; Governments are not exempt from God’s word.
We in AMERICA have freely chosen the path we walk today, a path of destruction, of evil intent, living after fleshly deeds, selfish, self-centered, defiant, rebellious and lazy. Unless we repent and return to God today we will remain on a path of destruction we created for ourselves. If we choose not to repent and return to God, it is all over but the crying, we deserve what we get.
One last word, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, and conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Have nothing to do with such people” (2nd Timothy 3:1-5).
We can no longer say “God Bless America” God is not listening, but rather say to God as we lie prone on our faces with all sincerity of heart, “God forgive us, what have we done to our nation. You blessed the people with this ONCE great nation and now in such a short time we have destroyed it. Please God, we repent of our actions and admit fault, allow us time to repair America if it is not too late and seek your divine guidance as did our founding forefathers when America was established, we are wrong.”
Repent.
