The dynamics of discipleship (part 15)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – MATTHEW 24:19, 20

God’s Operative is to GO! Christianity is not a static organization, it is a living breathing entity commanded by the Lord Himself to GO! The very word dynamic means physical force producing motion and the physical force is the Holy Spirit in us.

When one is born again the Holy Spirit enters his spirit and immediately he is a son of God with the same anointing as the Lord Jesus Christ. The anointing leads us into ministry, it breaks the yoke of evil and gives us supernatural power to overcome and make replicas of the Lord Jesus. This is our destiny, our call, and the great commission to GO and obey, rather than sit and stay.

Imagine the power to produce a harvest if the millions of church folks who are glued to the pew would suddenly un-hook their religious seat belts and obey the great commission to Go! The world would be turned upside down and millions would be saved and the ministry of making disciples would become a full-time job for leadership instead of making a name for themselves.

Later Jesus appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. – MARK 16:14
