BLOOD COVENANT (part 12)

But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” – HEBREWS 1:13,14

When the spike was driven through the feet of Jesus the blood that flowed crushed the head of the devil and all his angels. The powers of darkness were disarmed forever with only the power to deceive and they were totally defeated by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The enemies of God had become a footstool for our feet and defeated foes forever. Their only weapons against the believer are deceit, deception and lies. To have victory one must learn spiritual warfare, be baptized in the Holy Spirit and know the Word of the living God. Remember if the devil is speaking in your ear, he’s not under your feet where he belongs.

Jesus has given us as disciples all power and authority over our enemies and He promised us that nothing would harm us. It is up to us to keep these demons under our feet and not listen to their lies and schemes. Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. – COLOSSIANS 2:13-15
