Early voting begins at the Ferris Public Library, along with several other locations, on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. You do not have to vote in your precinct, but you must cast your vote in the County you are registered in. Ferris ISD has posted a Public Notice of Election here at the library. If you want to learn more about this Bond Election, please stop by to see our community’s needs for the future.

NEW BOOKS: “The Hotel Nantucket” by Elin Hilderbrand, “The House Across the Lake” by Riley Sager, “Blood and Bullets” (LP) by William Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone, “Long Way Home” (LP) by Lynn Austin, and “Fairy Tale” by Stephen King.

WORD OF THE WEEK: Inflation (in-FLAY-shun) A continual increase in the price of goods and services. In 1920s Germany, inflation became so bad that in some restaurants, waiters would announce new prices for items on the menu. Some people found that if they sat down and ordered a meal, by the time the food came, the price had changed and they could no longer afford it.
