After-School Game Time is held each Thursday from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room and board games are also available.

NEW BOOKS: “Fourteen Days: A Collaborative Novel” by The Authors Guild, “The Ghost Orchid” by Jonathan Kellerman, “A Love Song for Ricki Wilde” by Tia Williams, and “Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning” (Dewey BIO) by Liz Cheney.

BOOK BLURB: “Fourteen Days: A Collaborative Novel” by The Authors Guild, released February 2024. Set in a Lower East Side tenement in the early days of the COVID-19 lockdowns, “Fourteen Days” is an irresistibly propulsive collaborative novel from the Authors Guild, with an unusual twist: each character in this diverse, eccentric cast of New York neighbors has been secretly written by a different, major literary voice – from Margaret Atwood and Celeste Ng to Tommy Orange and John Grisham.

The library is located at 301 E. 10th St., across from Mutz Ballpark. Library staff may be reached at ferrislibrary@ferristexas.gov or (972) 544-2110, Option 9.
