Ferris’ Fire and Police Departments will be visiting the Ferris Public Library on Wednesday, June 19, at 11 a.m.

We always have a fantastic time with our first responders. Not only do we have loads of fun, but they also provide excellent information on safety and well-being. Educational and entertaining, can’t beat that!

Craft Time for ages 11 and under is held every Thursday, at 11 a.m. For the craft this week we will be making bird feeders out of bowls with jute, tissue paper, and fruity loops! Each child will be given a small bag of bird seed to take home.

For a calendar of all the activities scheduled for our Summer Reading Club come by the library or become a “Fan” on the library Facebook page. Rules and Reading Logs are also available at the front desk. All Summer Reading Club activities are free and open to all.

Teen Time for ages 12 – 17 is held each Friday at 2 p.m. Gaming on the PS4 and Wii will be played on both of the big screens. Chips, cookies, and soda will be served. A free lunch will be provided at 1:30 p.m. for those that are participating in Teen Time at 2 p.m.

Samaritan’s Miracles will begin serving Free Lunch in the library’s Aubrey Trussell Memorial Meeting Room this summer Tuesdays through Fridays at 12:30 p.m. All children are invited to come for a noon meal and snack.
