FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (January 23, 2020)

The Ferris Public Library’s 8th Annual “Take Your Child to the Library Day” will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library offers free library membership to all children ages 7 – 16, living outside of Ferris city limits. We will also have free face painting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The parent or legal guardian of the child and the child(ren) must be present. All applications must be completed by the parent or legal guardian of the child and present a current driver’s license or valid picture ID. The responsible adult and child must both be present.

The Ferris Youth Soccer Association will be holding registration for the spring season here at the library on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Feb. 1st from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for ages 4 – 14. Proof of age and birth certificate are required.

The Ferris Public Library is located at 301 E. 10th St., Ferris, TX 75125. The Library’s hours are Tuesday, Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. For more information call (972) 544-3696.
