WILMER PIONEER DAYS IS THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

WILMER – Wilmer’s Taste of Pioneer Days has been officially announced for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Wilmer’s City Square.

Marking the 37th year of the festivities, last year’s event was canceled due to COVID-19.

Held in the fall each year, the signature event has been a yearly crowd pleasure for residents and visitors.

In 2019 the event was launched as a multi-day festival marking the City’s 100-year anniversary.

This year, all are invited to attend the festivities; however the event will be cut short and held for only one day.

The festival, which over the years has been complete with a parade, carnival rides, vendors and camaraderie, is a celebration that marks the city’s long history.

This year as in years past, the event will feature games, vendors, food trucks, live music and health screenings.

With the city’s growth over the years, Pioneer Days has been a way to bring back past residents as well as family and friends together to eat, play and dance while remembering the importance of the founding of the city.
