Gov. Abbott sets Tuesday, Sept. 28 as special runoff election for House District 10

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today issued a proclamation setting Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021 as the date for the special runoff election to fill the Texas State House of Representatives District 10 seat vacated by the Honorable Jake Ellzey.

A special general election was held for the Texas House of Representatives District 10 on Aug. 31. Brian E. Harrison (R) and John Wray (R) advanced to a general runoff election and defeated six other candidates.

Early voting will begin on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.
