MIDLOTHIAN – Argyle receiver Julian Caldwell caught four long touchdowns from Maguire Gasperson in a win.On the first play from scrimmage, Gasperson connected with Caldwell for a 62-yard score.

Arlington Seguin 41, Red Oak 34

ARLINGTON – G’Manii Smith took a short pass from Chevy Andrews 22 yards for a touchdown with 38 seconds remaining for the go-ahead score as Arlington Seguin won a thriller 41-34 in a matchup of ranked teams Thursday at Choctaw Stadium.

WEEK 1: Red Oak beats Colleyville Heritage 20-11 in season opener

 RED OAK – The Red Oak Hawks took care of business in their home opener on Friday, August 29, beating the Colleyville Heritage Panthers by a score of 20-11.This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 32-29 defeat the last time these two teams met in August, 2024.

WEEK 1: Battle of 287 a massacre – Waxahachie beats Ennis 44-13

WAXAHACHIE – Taylen Furlough-Strange ran for three touchdowns including a 63-yard dash on the first play of the second half as Waxahachie beat Ennis.Furlough-Strange finished with 114 yards on nine carries. His first touchdown, a 14-yard run, broke a 7-7 tie in the second quarter.

WEEK 1: Cedar Hill pulls away from Midlothian in second half, 36-21

CEDAR HILL  –  Omowale Muhammid ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as Cedar Hill pulled away in the second half and defeated Midlothian at Longhorn Stadium.Muhammid was 17-of-20 passing for 197 yards, including a 6-yard scoring strike to Quentis Frazier in the second quarter.

WEEK 1: Stephenville drops Midlothian Heritage, 28-7

MIDLOTHIAN – Trot Jordan threw for 195 yards and three TDs as Stephenville beat Midlothian Heritage 28-7 at Midlothian ISD Multipurpose Stadium.Stephenville (1-0) raced to a 21-0 halftime lead behind Jordan and a stout defense that allowed only four first downs.
