Cedar Hill dominates Red Oak, 48-16

 CEDAR HILL – Red Oak was looking to bounce back after a close loss to Arlington Seguin against the Class 6A Cedar Hill Longhorns this past Friday night.The Hawks initial possession looked promising but soon stalled.It was all Cedar Hill from that point.

Ennis out-muscles Centennial, 41-13

 ENNIS – Ennis leaned on its rushing attack, racing away for a 41–13 victory over Burleson Centennial Friday night at Lion Memorial Stadium.Senior running back Wenderius Jones set the tone early, blasting through for a 22-yard touchdown on Ennis’ opening drive.

Waxahachie too strong for Forney, 35-14

Midlothian beats Kimball, 28-20

 Midlothian (2-1) totaled over 280 yards on the ground with three TDs in a win over Kimball at Sprague Athletic Complex.Trailing 28-7 at halftime, Kimball (1-2) scored twice in the third quarter to cut the deficit to eight points but got no closer.

Midlothian outlasts Ennis, 59-41

MIDLOTHIAN – Beau Wendel threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as Midlothian defeated Ennis in a shootout Thursday night, Sept. 4 at Midlothian ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium.Wendel had touchdown passes of 64, 46, 55 and 73 yards, and finished the night 11 for 12 through the air for 311 yards.
