MANSFIELD – The Red Oak running back duo of Zach Sanders and sophomore Iverson Young combined for 201 rushing yards and three touchdowns as Red Oak defeated Mansfield Legacy 45-21 in a 4-5A Div. I game at Vernon Newsom Stadium.

MIDLOTHIAN – Daelin Rader threw for three touchdown passes and rushed for another touchdown to lead Midlothian Heritage over Waco La Vega. Jordan Rogers finished with 191 yards rushing on 15 at-tempts for La Vega.   WL – Jar’Quae Walton 1 run (Pavel Ramirez kick).

Lady Hawks get sweep over Corsicana

After dropping a rare, non-district 3 game set to Kennedale HS on Tuesday Oct., 13, the Lady Hawks continued district play on Friday, Oct. 16 when they hosted Corsicana (5-7, 1-3). A slow start to game by both teams led to a quick scoring spurt by the Lady Hawks.
