MIDLOTHIAN — De’ago Benson rushed for 150 yards rushing and a touchdown, and Jordon Richburg added 119 yards rushing and a touchdown to lead Midlothian (5-3, 4-1 District 4-5 Div. I) past Mansfield Legacy (1-7, 1-4).

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 9: Waco La Vega 40, Midlothian Heritage 28

WACO – Kaden Brown ran for a pair of touchdowns and passed for another, but it was not enough as Midlothian Heritage (6-2, 2-1) fell to Waco La Vega in a 5-4A Division I contest at Willie Williams Stadium.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 9: Waxahachie 43, Mansfield 25

WAXAHACHIE – Waxahachie running back Jayden Becks rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns.Waxahachie (5-3, 3-2 in 11-6A) trailed 17-14 but took the lead on a 12-yard pass from Roderick Hartsfield Jr to Jaelyn Davis-Robinson. Then Calvin Simpson returned a blocked kick 68 yards for a touchdown.

Hawks steam rolled in 42-27 homecoming loss to Midlothian

RED OAK – Deago Benson ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries to lead the Midlothian Panthers (4-3, 3-1, 4-5A) to a 42-27 win Friday night over the Red Oak Hawks (1-6, 1-3).

MIDLOTHIAN — Running back Mason O’Neal ran for 126 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries to help Midlothian Heritage defeat Life Waxahachie at Don Floyd Stadium.Heritage (6-1, 2-0 District 5-4A) held Life Waxahachie (1-6, 0-2) to 51 total yards.

MAYPEARL – Maypearl (4-2, 2-1 District 7-3A ) kept its playoff hopes alive by defeating Madison (2-6, 0-4).Aaron Jett ran for 26 yards and caught a 4-yard pass from Cole Rager to get Maypearl going in a game in which all the scoring was in the first quarter.
