MANSFIELD — Free safety like Ahmaad Moses plucked two interceptions for the second time in his varsity career to help Summit defeat Midlothian 42-21 in District 4-5A Division I matchup Friday night at Vernon Newsom Stadium and clinch a first-round home playoff game.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 10: Red Oak 42, Birdville 27

RED OAK — Kendall Brown led Red Oak (2-7, 2-4 4-5A Div. I) with 338 yards passing in a win over Birdville (3-6, 1-5).Red Oak scored 21 consecutive points after Birdville crept within 21-20 early in the third quarter. Jace Wyatt caught three touchdowns for 164 yards for Red Oak.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 10: Stephenville 38, Mid. Heritage 27

MIDLOTHIAN — Quarterback Ryder Lambert tallied 101 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns to help Stephenville defeat Midlothian Heritage to clinch the district’s first seed. Stephenville’s defense had two defensive touchdowns and recovered three turnovers.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 10: Waxahachie 41, Waco 12

WACO — Running back Jayden Becks ran for three touchdowns and quarterback Roderick Hartsfield Jr. passed for two more as Waxahachie (6-3, 4-2 in 11-6A) clinched a playoff spot.Becks scored on a pair of 1-yard, first-period plunges, then scampered 47 yards for a third quarter score.
