Red Oak boys 4x100 track team wins state

Hawks swimmer breaks school record

DUNCANVILLE – In a tune-up before regionals start, the Red Oak High School Swim Team competed in a Tri-meet with Waxahachie and Duncanville at the Duncanville Natatorium on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

NOVEMBER 3: Midlothian 56, Red Oak 28

MIDLOTHIAN – Midlothian topped 4-5A Division I mate Red Oak to claim a district title and finish its regular season undefeated for the first time since 1984.Midlothian put up 529 yards of offense in the district championship game.

NOVEMBER 3: Midlothian Heritage 35, Everman 34

EVERMAN – With the District 5-5A Division II title on the line, Midlothian Heritage’s defense made the play of the game by stuffing Everman’s Kayden Brooks’ 2-point conversion run to give Heritage a 35-34 victory at J.E. Marr Stadium.

NOVEMBER 3: Waxahachie 49, Skyline 21

Waxahachie (8-2, 5-2 District 11-6A) put on a defensive clinic in the first half with four interceptions, including a 65-yard pick-six by cornerback Keith Abney, as it routed Skyline (0-10, 0-7). Waxahachie will be the No.2 seed from 11-6A in Division I.

OCTOBER 28: Waxahachie 39, Mansfield Lake Ridge 31

WAXAHACHIE – Quarterback Roderick Hartsfield Jr. had 179 yards of offense and three touchdowns as Waxahachie clinched a playoff berth Friday, beating upset-minded Mansfield Lake Ridge 39-31.

OCTOBER 28: Madison 59, Maypearl 47

ENNIS – Quarterback Adairian Alexander ran for 156 yards and threw four TD passes to lead Madison past Maypearl 59-47 Friday night at wet and windy Forester Field.Madison (5-4, 5-2 District 7-3A Division I) remained in contention for the fourth playoff spot and plays Grandview on Friday.

OCTOBER 28: Midlothian Heritage 52, Arlington Seguin 20

MIDLOTHIAN – Quarterback Kaden Brown threw for 205 yards and five touchdowns as Midlothian Heritage (8-1, 6-0 5-5A Div. II) trounced Arlington Seguin (3-6, 2-4) at Midlothian ISD Stadium.Midlothian Heritage got some help from its running game.

OCTOBER 28: Red Oak 55, Granbury 0

RED OAK – Quarterback Jaylon Robinson accounted for 174 total yards and two touchdowns, as Red Oak clinched a playoff berth by beating Granbury.Red Oak (8-1, 6-1 4-5A Div. I) led 48-0 at halftime, and a running clock was used in the second half.
