MANSFIELD – Ramon McKinney Jr. rushed for 128 yards and threw for 52 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over Mansfield Lake Ridge at Vernon-Newsom Stadium.The game was called at halftime after multiple weather delays. The second half will not be played.

WEEK 9: Red Oak beats Killeen 56-37, record now at 8-0

RED OAK – The Red Oak Hawks (8-0, 6-0 District 4-5A1) continued their recording-breaking season Friday night with a 56-37 win over the visiting Killeen Kangaroos. The win puts Red Oak and Midlothian on a collision course for the district championship on November 3.

WEEK 9: Arlington Seguin 37, Ennis 34

ARLINGTON – Arlington Seguin used a 16-point outburst in the first two minutes of the game and held on to beat Ennis at Wilemon Field.Ennis closed the gap to 37-34 but was unable to recover an onside kick attempt with 2:21 to go. Arlington Seguin ran the clock out to secure the win.

MIDLOTHIAN – Quarterback Carter Rutenbar threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another to lead Midlothian Heritage (8-0, 5-0 5-5A Division II) over Corsicana (2-6, 0-5).

WAXAHACHIE – Quarterback Ramon McKinney Jr. totaled 170 yards of offense and ran for a touchdown to lead Waxahachie.Waxahachie running back Wade Lemons scored the first touchdown on a 31-yard run.

WEEK 8: Red Oak beats Cleburne 35-10; first 7-0 record in school history

CLEBURNE – Red Oak (7-0, 5-0 District 4-5A1) got out to a quick 14-0 start with a little over 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter and built a 21-7 lead at the half, thanks to a pair of touchdown catches from Rodney Malone, one from 16-yards and the other from 8-yards, from Reggie Moody.
