Red Oak taken apart by Arlington Seguin, 50-14

RED OAK – Chevy Andrews passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Arlington Seguin over Red Oak at Goodloe Stadium.Andrews threw for 259 yards, with two touchdown passes going to Caterrious Brown, who caught 10 passes for 187 yards.Arlington Seguin’s defense scored two touchdowns.

Canton steamrolls Life Waxahachie, 51-0

WAXAHACHIE – The Canton Eagles claimed a resounding 51-0 win over the Life Waxahachie Mustangs on the road Friday night.The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third quarter, with the Eagles up by 39 points.

Italy beats Chilton for first win, 21-6

ITALY – After a back-and-forth struggle early, Italy took control of the game in the second-quarter after a 46 yard keeper by senior quarterback Gared Wood gave the Gladiators a 1st-and-goal opportunity at Chilton’s 1 yard line.

Red Oak falls to Colleyville Heritage 32-29

GRAPEVINE – The Red Oak Hawk’s first game of the 2024 season was a road trip to Grapevine for a non-district contest.The Hawks came into the 2024 with high expectations after last season’s remarkable playoff run.However, Colleyville Heritage is also a very good 5A program.
