Ferris boys’ soccer beats Godley 3-1, advances to 4A Division 2 playoffs

  On Friday, March 13, Ferris took on the Godley Wildcats. The Yellowjackets, riding a four-game winning streak, got scores from Ian Rivas, Kaden Gonzalez, and Daniel Rodriguez-Rivas to beat Godley 3-1 and advance to the 4A Division 2 playoffs.

HEWITT –  Sophomore running back Taylen Furlough-Strange rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns, leading Waxahachie to a dominating victory over Waco Midway.Waxahachie (10-1) rushed 42 times for 389 yards and racked up 494 total yards and 21 first downs.Midway (9-2) was held 30.
